Dmitry Klimchuk is the Co-Founder and Managing Partner of WIT Pharma, with 20+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry across Russia and the CIS. He began his career in 2003 at ICN Pharmaceuticals. In 2005, prior to graduating from Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University, he joined Mapichem AG as an International Business Manager, responsible for partnering with global API manufacturers. He later joined the R&D function of Valenta, a leading local pharmaceutical manufacturer, focusing on contract manufacturing development and assessment of licensing opportunities. In 2007, Dmitry moved to Novartis (OTC) as a Key Account Manager and subsequently joined the Business Operations function as a Project Manager, leading initiatives in warehouse operations optimization, demand planning, commercial effectiveness, and business analytics. From 2009, he headed the Market research function, supporting the CEO and headquarters, driving strategic and target planning, and managing KPI frameworks. In 2010, he joined Raifarm, where he delivered consulting projects related to new product launches and identified investment opportunities to expand the company’s portfolio. From 2011 to 2013, he was responsible for business development across Russia and the CIS at IMS Health. Since 2013, at WIT Pharma, Dmitry has led end-to-end delivery of complex projects for dozens of pharmaceutical companies, including international clients, combining expertise in strategy and commercialization, market access/GR, analytics, and organizational development. Between 2013 and 2026, the team under his leadership delivered 200+ projects; a significant share of this work involves international collaboration and cross-functional teams across multiple jurisdictions. |
